Happy Shit – 6/28/13

Yo, I made it to the end of another week, mine started out chaotic, but it is relatively under control now, even though I did get mild food poisoning yesterday at a work potluck. How was your week?
I try to avoid things that may be of questionable origin, but I wasn't careful enough this time. Was it the salad? The cookies? I will never know.
Fun fact of the week: The interrobang is a combination of an exclamation point and a question mark (called a "bang" for short). This obscure punctuation was invented in 1962 to fill a gap in our punctuation system where writers often used typographically cumbersome and unattractive combinations of the question mark and exclamation mark to punctuate rhetorical statements where neither the question nor an exclamation alone exactly served the writer.
Interrobangging. Aw yeah.
And now Happy Shit! YAY! There are quite a few of them this week, which I am pretty pumped about!

The Quartet String Theory playing all the songs from Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
This is filmed at various locations on the Cornell University campus...I am curious as to what all of these weird white balls are.
And this one by the same people that combines the theme songs for Game of Thrones, Sherlock, and Inception.
Look they added a new dude and made it a quintet.
The UGLY Modeling Agency is a real thing.
One of the models.
This guy is doing spoofs on all of the makeup/bitch tags. This one is the "What's in my bag?" video.
Jack Daniels: The perfect antidote to a bad day...
And this spoof on the "Boyfriend does my makeup" videos.
Magical. Just magical.
On Co-optitude, Felicia and Ryon Day play GUTS: The Game.
AGGRO-CRAG!
This is what happens when people get way too into Instagram.
I'm friggin' Michelangelo!
And this ad for screen-sharing instead of having conference room meetings is amazing.
It even includes a Brony.
And this guy was a finalist from Australia's Got Talent known as The Badpiper.
An Australian in a kilt playing pub rock on a Scottish instrument. Yeah.
This hilarious documentary True Facts about the Mantis Shrimp.
The smasher shrimp have little Edward Bowling Ball hands that they use to punch the crap out of basically everything.
And my favorite one of these funny documentaries: True Facts about the Sea Pig.
Bacon from a sea pig tastes like a fish farted on a dirty beach cracker.
And that is it for this week. I hope you have fabulous things planned for this weekend!

Happy Shit – 6/21/13

Happy first day of summer! Time to start sweating our balls off outside and freezing to death inside! Granted, I would rather freeze in the office than have it be like last year when the AC wasn't working...it was bad.

Just me, hanging out in my office in the middle of July.
This week was less stressful than last week, which was pretty awesome. Other than one uppity bitch who thinks she is more important than everyone else, it was a pretty okay week...dare I even say it was a good week? Nah, we won't go that far, especially since...

Anyway, fun fact of the week: Four people played Darth Vader: David Prowse was his body, James Earl Jones did the voice, Sebastian Shaw was his face, and a fourth person did the breathing.
What do you mean only David Prowse gets to wear the suit?!
I didn't see much that made me super happy this week, so there isn't a lot on this list, but here is some Happy Shit!

Archer hates space.
Fuck you, space...
And more funny Archer clips.
I love me some Archer...
And this owl enjoying a neck scratch.
Other side...ahhh. That's the spot.
Max No Sleeves cleans his house.
Wait. This isn't how you clean a house?
And this kitty freak out.
Smooth moves there Exlax.
And lastly, I would like to thank fudgesicles for being awesome.
And chocolaty.

Happy Shit – 6/14/13

This week has been another winner. I worked late all week, especially yesterday when I put in a 12 hour day. I am well over my 40 hours for the week, but I had deadline, so I am at work today. I was hoping to go home when I sent the files, but they want to have a conference call at an unconfirmed time this afternoon. So I wait and blog.
I can't brain. I have the dumb.
I am still on my documentary kick, and I listened to one about an Indian princess who was a spy in German occupied Paris during WWII. It was pretty awesome.
Noor Inayat Khan: wireless operator, princess, British spy, and badass.
Fun fact of the week: Ancient Egyptians shaved off their eyebrows to mourn the deaths of their cats.
They shaved them off when mourning people and cats.
Because of work, there aren't that many things on the list this week, but Happy shit! Fuck yeah!

I went by this incident on my way to work Wednesday (no one was injured)
He was probably trying to ramp that shit LIKE A BOSS.
more photos
This gif of Tartar Sauce the Grumpy Cat at a party.

All of these pictures of phones and babies replaced with sandwiches made me giggle.
And he is whispering,"Yeah girl, I like your sandwich."
I would pee if this happened to me.
GAH! FUCK!.......I may or may not have fear-urinated in my pants.
This cello quartet playing Smooth Criminal is pretty awesome.
You've been struck by...a smooth cello beat.
I love the Hump Day Camel commercials.
Happier than a camel on hump day.
You can totally buy Kermit and Marbles stuffed toys from Jenna Marbles!
Stuffed Marble looks suspicious as fuck in this photo...
And this cool video of Lindsey Stirling playing Don't You Worry Child.
This is what happens when Lindsey and her crew get bored backstage at her concert in Paris.
And that is it for this week. Hopefully I get to just work like a normal person next week and not a crazy psycho under deadline. Have a good weekend.

Happy Shit – 6/7/13

We made it to the end of another week. Hurray for us!

Today, we are getting the rainy remnants of tropical storm Andrea today and that makes me want to snuggle into a big, fluffy quilt and nap.
As of right now, it is raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. Not looking forward to running to my car later.
Fun fact of the day:

I've had a thing for documentaries again this week, so I didn't watch too much funny stuff. Instead, I watched WWII From Above, Aokigahara: Japan's Suicide Forest, and I tried to find a good documentary on the Japanese invasion of Nanking and/or the construction of the Stilwell Road but there isn't much on YouTube about those things for some reason...I miss when the History Channel still showed documentaries all the time.
The History Channel: All we do now is Conspiracies, Aliens, and Ice Road Truckers.
Anyway, on to all the Happy Shit! Fuck yeah!

To go along with the Sad Cat Diaries from last week, they now have Sad Dog Diaries.
"The cat is a curious, magical creature...it poops delicious candy into a box of pee flavored sprinkles."
This gif of a dude and his Ferrari...
DAMN YOU, GIANT! DAMN YOU!
Cosplay Piano did the Game of Thrones theme song this past week and it is pretty awesome.
Look! A midget and hookers!
I can't stop laughing at this gif of Snow White.
BAHAHAHAHA!
And Jenna Marbles explains how women get dressed.
White shirt? Nope, I am WAY too messy to wear white!
This gif of a kitty saving his buddy.
It's okay, man! I saved you!
And Peter Hollens did a cover of the Game of Thrones song The Rains of Castamere.
I would like to point out that this throne looks exceedingly uncomfortable.
And Max No Sleeves explores what would happen if technology could talk.
Hey! Don't put me in your back pocket...Hey, wait. No! You had Mexican food for lunch! GAH!
And one of my favorites, the Mean Kitty Song.
Even if you try to sneak up on me, I'm prepared. I've got my safety gear on and I'm not scared!
And finally, this inspirational gif.
Let it motivate you with its cuteness.
Have a good weekend everyone! :-)
